I Have an SD-Card with 2 Primary Partition on it.
Why 2 Primary?. I use it in my Android device, and use program Link2SD (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD) to mount the rest of my apps on SD-Card then maximize my Internal Memory for greater purpose.
Now, the second partition is broken.
Initially, I dont know if the partition is error, until my Internal Memory in Android Device is left with 15Mb / out of 1.5 GB, only. Usually after mount everything up to LINK2SD Partition, I can have around 450-500 Mb free in my Internal Memory. Then I explore why it could happen, and found that many of updated (or downloaded) apps, resides in my Internal Memory. Then I go to each apps, and move it to SD-Card (the first partition in my SD-Card), but there is not resulting in more free space. (the apps is marked as moved to SD-Card, but the free space is still the same).
I wonder why this can happen, then I pull-out the SD-Card out of my phones and check it with my EASEUS Partition Master 9 (On Windows 8). There is one error found in second partition.
I then copy all partition to my laptop harddisk. But, before is I reserve around 10GB empty space in my harddrive – no partitioned – and copy all the second primary partition on my SD Card to this empty partition in my harddisk.
After it finished, I want to fix the partition. But, I can not. Windows 8 is only recognize one primary partition on the removable disk. So, the idea is.. make it the only primary partition. I then convert the first primary partition on SD-Card to logical partition. After that, windows require to restart, and after restart I have this second partition of LINK2SD to mount on my computer.
I then delete the partition and format it to FAT32.
After that, I copied all the files that already copied to harddisk by using partition copy before, back to my SD-Card. Then after all copied back, I change back the first partition to primary partition.
That is how I resolve the issue of 2 Primary Partition error in Windows 8.
